Over 20 Conferences and Stakeholder Collaborations
Overview:
In the spirit of the Languages Connect Strategy and a commitment to enhancing, promoting, and diversifying
language education, PPLI presented papers at various conferences throughout the year. These presentations
aimed to disseminate information on PPLI work and supports, share best practice, foster partnerships, and
invite new collaboration.
Main Aims:
•
Disseminate information on the work of PPLI in relation to implementing key actions in the Languages
Connect Strategy
•
Provide information to teachers, principals, and language stakeholders on the importance of learning
foreign languages at both primary and post-primary level
•
Engage in discussion and invite feedback and views on the importance of foreign language learning in
primary and post-primary schools
•
Develop new partnerships with stakeholders
Activity:
In 2023, PPLI continued to contribute to both international and national conferences. These conferences
offered PPLI an opportunity to disseminate projects, share success stories and engage with stakeholders at an
international level.
