supported and celebrated #ThinkLanguages
by helping students discover the many
benefits of languages when it comes to a
career. The partnership provided an
invaluable opportunity for students to
witness real life experiences of where
languages are integral to the workplace. Cooperating businesses in Cork, Dublin and
Ballina opened their doors for the week and
invited schools to visit their operations,
speak to staff and watch languages come to
life in the world of enterprise. While an onsite visit was not viable for some schools,
online opportunities were also made
available by some of these businesses to
provide more schools with the opportunity
to discover the benefits of language skills in
business.
