Posters
18 posters were prepared by participants for the event and displayed on the day, each offering a unique
perspective on language education. A range of contributors including language teachers, students of ITE, and
HEI colleagues, showcased innovative projects reflecting the themes and the collaborative nature of the
event as well as the expertise within the field of language education.
Posters celebrating linguistic diversity included "Summer Fun with Polish in Cavan", "Teaching Russian", and
"Using Comics to Depict Critical Incidents and Develop Intercultural Awareness".
An emphasis on collaboration and inclusion was evident in posters such as "Benefits of school-based
involvement for EAL parents" and "How to Make Your Class More Accessible for Students with Disabilities".
Erasmus+ projects highlighted the integration of technology and inclusive teaching methodologies. A poster
promoting and showcasing the impact of PPLI’s work on CLIL added to the overall important awareness
raising opportunity for CLIL among MFL teachers in Ireland that was reflected in the Summit.
The posters collectively embodied the spirit of the Summit, serving as catalysts for dialogue and progress in
language education. The nature of the poster display encouraged collaboration and networking, fostering
meaningful discussions and exchanges of ideas among the language teachers and stakeholders in
attendance.
Attendees were not only inspired by the breadth of creativity and innovation showcased but also found
practical insights and strategies to implement in their own teaching practices.
