Impact:
Overall, in 2023, PPLI was able to provide, and expand
upon, significant support for the FLA scheme, assisting
teachers, FLAs and schools in their preparations for arrivals
of FLAs, and in contributing to the development of effective
collaborative teaching and learning practices arising out of
the FLA’s participation in school life.
Next steps

Roll-out of FLA-CT support session two (January 2024)

Review model of session delivery to ensure that it
responds to evolving needs
•
Expand pre-arrival supports for both FLAs and CTs
•
Provide information session for successful schools (May
2024)
•
Prepare to deliver a new model for the FLA induction
