PPLI also contributed to the Culture Night event by offering a Chinese taster course taught by a PPLI Chinese
teacher. Furthermore, PPLI has continued to deliver information sessions, respond to inquiries, and develop
resources to assist parents of students learning Chinese both inside and outside of school settings.
Impact:

1,856 students studying post-primary Chinese curriculum, both in schools and in Saturday classes
•
29 schools have been working with PPLI to develop Chinese on their curriculum
•
6 presentations made at Irish and international conferences on Chinese and related topics
•
2 information sessions delivered to over 130 students and parents about the Chinese curriculum in
primary and post-primary schools
