richness of Polish heritage but also fosters mutual respect and appreciation for cultural diversity within
school communities

Through initiatives such as setting up a Polish section in school libraries, PPLI contributes to the
recognition and visibility of the Polish language and culture within the broader educational context,
encouraging further exploration and appreciation among students and educators alike.
Next Steps:

Continue provision of Polish language classes in 2024.

Investigate development of an online Saturday class to better support learners living outside the main
urban centres
•
Explore additional mechanisms for better responding to the needs of students and schools in the context
of Polish.
