Over 50 pre-service teachers across three universities were introduced to the support PPLI can offer relating
to innovative language teaching methodologies and resources
•
Students gained a deeper understanding of CLIL and DigiTech integration. This provides them with practical
strategies and actionable insights for their future classrooms
•
PPLI strengthened its relationships with ITE providers, reinforcing its role as a key supporter of teacher
education and innovation in language pedagogy
Next steps:

Strengthen the developing collaborations with ITE providers
•
Continue visits to ITE providers to raise awareness and disseminate the resources and supports available for
future language teachers
•
Encourage pre-service teachers to join their local Communities of Practice and use the supports available
on the PPLI and Languages Connect websites during their school placement
