Overview:
PPLI plays a central role in strengthening teaching and learning within the Foreign Language Assistant (FLA)
scheme by delivering and enhancing supports provided to Foreign Language Assistants (FLAs) and
Cooperating Teachers (CTs). Through targeted sessions, resources and ongoing engagement, PPLI helps
schools to maximise the impact of having an FLA in their school community.
Main Aims:

Provide support for a high-quality teaching and learning experience for school communities that host an
FLA.
•
Disseminate and discuss efective approaches to teaching and learning that contribute to an engaging
classroom environment.
•
Secure the best possible learning outcomes for students by supporting planning for success and
innovation in teaching and learning practices.
