Coordination of the ARPIDE project strengthened Ireland9s leadership in shaping practical European-level
tools that support the implementation of CM/Rec(2022)1.

Delivery of the Training and Consultancy event strengthened coherence across curriculum, professional
learning and assessment bodies and built shared understanding of plurilingual and intercultural
education.

Participation in the DECODE network provided valuable insight to support the introduction of foreign
languages in primary schools.

Engagement in the Plurilitcit network reinforced national focus on deeper learning, CLIL and global
citizenship education.

Participation in the AI for Language Education workshop supported Ireland9s readiness for ethical AI
integration in language education.

Piloting the self-evaluation instrument supported national renection on policy implementation and
contributed to future planning under the Languages Connect strategy.
Next Steps:

Maintain sustained strategic engagement with the ECML to strengthen alignment with European policy
developments and enhance coherence across PPLI9s initiatives.

Continue reoning and piloting the ECML diagnostic/self-evaluation tool.

Use insights from network meetings to inform planning for the next phase of the Languages Connect
strategy.

Prepare and deliver the 2026 ARPIDE workshop and disseminate core project outputs through ECML and
