Overview:
In 2025, two AI for MFL Teachers Think-In events were facilitated to explore how Artiocial Intelligence (AI) can
support modern foreign languages (MFL) teaching and learning. These events examined emerging teacher
needs, encouraged professional dialogue, and generated insights that will inform future support, resource
development and capacity building across the MFL community.
Main Aims:
•
Explore how AI can serve as a meaningful and practical resource in MFL teaching and learning.
•
Identify the emerging needs of MFL teachers in relation to AI tools and approaches.
•
Facilitate teacher voice and input to guide future resource development and supports.
