There are so many opportunities to
continue studying your languages at third
level. You can study a language at major
or minor level or choose one as an elective
with many courses nationwide.

search by language, by subject area or by
location, etc.
Study abroad
Many third-level courses include an Erasmus
year or term of study or work abroad. This is
an amazing opportunity for growth – not only
do you get to travel and see a new country,
but you get to meet lots of interesting people
of many different nationalities. It is also the
best way to improve your language skills.
Being immersed in another culture and way
of life gives you an understanding of the
world from a different perspective.
