Wesen einer unbekannten Welt
Michael Stavaric
Leykam
What do the ocean and outer space have in common? How did octopuses and humans come into
being? What exactly are cephalopods – and why do they have such a strange name? Octopuses are
the oldest intelligent creatures on our planet, true aliens whose abilities leave us in awe. Michael
Stavaric and Michèle Ganser have created a non-oction book full of surprising twists that ofers far
more than simply imparting knowledge. Together with their readers, they venture into the realm of
the octopus and invite us on a shared adventure. A book as unusual as the octopus itself: one that
encourages you to think and participate, full of witty details and vivid descriptions. The fact that
you inevitably end up knowing everything important about light, the Earth, evolution, genetics
and so on is almost a side efect.
