Suggested Activities
Interactive treasure hunt
Give students an interactive treasure hunt sheet olled with common words in the target language that can be
found around the classroom or school.
These might include labels on classroom doors, signs in the hallway, or objects in the language room.
Participants will search for these words as they move through the school, writing down where they ond each
one. It also moves the language outside your room so students can continue to be exposed to languages
throughout the open night.
Completed sheets could be handed in at the language room or a designated collection point for a small prize
or certiocate, adding a bit of excitement and reward to the experience!
Please see on next page for a sample of what the treasure hunt could look like. You could use it as it is or
adapt it to your context.
