Passport and Stamps
The Language Passport is a document
which will accompany each pupil
throughout their journey of learning
additional languages. It is designed to
complement the work of the tutor
delivering the module and the resources
available on our website.
Pupils are encouraged to to use the passport
for the duration of the module and also to
record their renections as they build on
language awareness.
Additionally, pupils are encouraged to keep
their passport and use it to document their
future experiences as they transition to postprimary school. It can be a useful resource to
support conversations around languages
and language learning, in school and at
home. The passport stamps are a fun way
for tutors to acknowledge and reward
progress. They can be used on pupils9 work
and pages of their Language Passport and
pupils can show their parents as they
progress through the module.
