A famous person from…
Task description
The aim of this task is for students to familiarise themselves with some famous people from the target
language country/countries. Students present their chosen person to the class by designing a poster,
or an avatar.

• Identify famous people from France or a French-speaking country.
• Explain what each person does and where they come from.
• Find out more information on a chosen person through online research.
• Write a short text as a chosen famous person.
• Create a text with the help of classmates.
• Represent this text through creating an avatar character, an oral presentation, or a poster.
